Bamouin Sinzé, born Axel Angenor Bamouin Sinzé in 1995 in Aboisso, Côte d’Ivoire, is a visionary artist who has redefined creative expression through his unique medium. Since moving to Abidjan in 2014 to study visual arts at INSAAC, Sinzé has developed a captivating style that explores themes of intimacy and nocturnal wanderings.
Using smoke as his medium, Sinzé creates ephemeral works by tracing gestures with a candle in darkness. His ethereal lines and curves ,by blending reality and illusion, his art captures the fragility of dreams and the fleeting beauty of human experience.
As an explorer of the boundaries between the tangible and intangible, Sinzé invites viewers to reflect on the mysteries of the inner world, offering profound meditations on life’s transient moments.
Romaric Kouadio, known as “Flödö,” was born on October 11, 2004, in Yamoussoukro, Côte d’Ivoire. A graduate of the National Institute of Arts and Cultural Action (INSAAC), he channels his passion for painting into exploring identity formation. Originally from Bouaké, his work is shaped by travels across various Ivorian regions, enriching his cultural perspective.
Flödö’s art delves into inner identity, using graphic elements like spots, dots, and lines to symbolize the information that shapes us. His introspective paintings reflect self-discovery and the interplay between individuals and society.
